Yes, the story fit the equation, functional and we would write this as our equation because this equation as clear but also fun to read. It makes sense but for improvement, they could have made the problem more academic. There weren't any grammatical mistake. The story is very creative but it would have been better if they used more appropriate words. The positive point about this word problem is that it was creatie, clear and enjoyable to read
